Now this post is close to home for many of us. You only have to look at some meds to start stacking on the weight.
Over 2007/8 I performed an amazing feat, losing about 13 kg (28.6 pounds) just from changing my diet (to low cholesterol). I mention it because there was a nasty side-effect. My moods became more not less volatile and I was very irritable and difficult to live with. It took about 6 months for it to dawn on us that my change in weight threw my meds out. A reduction in my meds helped stitch me back together.
It isn’t obvious, or it wasn’t to us. If you have a large increase or decrease in weight then a check-up could save you some grief.
