		<description>In my life the stigma of depression has been very strong indeed. Many people refuse to even consider depression to be an illness in the first place. Lack of understanding often leads to fear and hatred, and thus the stigmas are generated.

I&#039;ve actually heard &quot;You&#039;re not disabled, you have no wheelchair!&quot; Astonishing, hurtful, inaccurate. But true. 

&quot;Depression a disability? An actual sickness? You&#039;re joking, right?&quot;

&quot;Well no, I&#039;m not.&quot; 

&quot;What are you, crazy?&quot;

&quot;Sigh. Nevermind.&quot;
