Change Log
1.4.3 - 27 June 2008
The alignment of pointers to numbers for the 3 “Rate” sliders on the Record panel has been improved.
The 3 “rate” sliders snap to values in 1 point increments. The “exercise” slider snaps to 5 minute intervals.
Sliders are now moved by clicking on a point on the track rather than dragging.
The columns and headings on the Plan panel have been changed to match the order on the Record panel.
The “Special Characters...” menu item has been added to the Edit menu (Mac).
1.4.0 - 30 May 2008
The updating process now closes the current application file, self-installs and launches the updated application file.
The right or Control click contextual menu is enabled for all editable fields except the password field.
An issue with the alternative path to database (set in Preferences) has been fixed.
Changes have been made to non-critical text.
1.3.7 (Mac) - 16 May 2008
Password protection is included. Set, change or remove your password in the File/Password menu item.
The application is now delivered as a single packaged file instead of a folder.
A bug causing the application to look distorted when the Preferences panel was open has been fixed.
1.2.7 (Mac) - 1 May 2008
Clicking on the pen icon on the Charts screen takes the user to the Record containing the corresponding notes. A button next to the Notes section of the Record panel returns the user to the Chart for the corresponding date.
The splash screen displays periodically rather than every time Optimism is opened. This makes the program faster to open, but it retains the important message that Optimism is not a replacement for professional medical help.
The text "Your Mood" has replaced "How You Felt?" on the Report screen and pdf, to reflect the wording on the Record and Charts screens.
A fix in the path to Carbon removes a problem that a few users with read-only start-up disks have experienced.
1.2.6 (Win) - 26 April 2008
Daily notes are included on the report.
A pen icon on the charts panel indicates days in which notes have been made. Clicking on the icon takes the user to the Record containing the corresponding notes.
A button next to the Notes section of the Record panel returns the user to the Chart with the corresponding pen icon.
A "Send Feedback" button added to the Application menu, linking to the Feedback page on this website.
Fixed a bug in the "Today" button on the calendar.
